ISCO Industries provides piping solutions for your water project needs, whether the project calls for potable water transmission and distribution lines or other water services. Pipe offered by ISCO Industries for water applications includes HDPE, PVC, ductile iron and profile pipe.
HDPE has also grown in popularity for potable water applications. In 1992, AWWA approved the use of HDPE for force mains and distribution lines under C - 906 (4" - 63"). It had already been approved for use as service tubing under C - 901 (1/2" - 3"). HDPE pipe is flexible, durable, chemical and corrosion resistant, leak-free and long lasting, making it ideal for potable water applications.
PVC pipe has been the choice for potable water applications for many years. PVC is lightweight, durable and easy to install.
Ductile iron pipe is commonly used for potable water applications. Ductile iron is a more flexible and elastic type of cast iron.
Hydrants and Valves
A hydrant is a common tool used in fire protection in urban, suburban and rural areas, allowing firefighters to tap into the municipal water supply to assist in extinguishing a fire. ISCO Industries can provide many different types of hydrants including yard, post, flush, wet barrel, dry barrel as well as fire.
In addition to providing hydrants for your project, ISCO can provide nearly any kind of waterworks valve. In simple terms, a valve helps regulate fluid flow in a pipe system. ISCO offers everything from double check to air release valves.
